What if tech support felt less like calling a faceless corporation and more like asking a trusted neighbor for help? That’s the core vision behind Maxsys International and our network of local Tech Hubs.
We’re building a network of “Nerds with Hearts”—skilled, vetted IT professionals who live in the communities they serve. Our model is designed to be a positive feedback loop that strengthens communities instead of extracting value from them.
A New Model for Community Tech
- For Nonprofits: Get affordable, honest advice and support from a local expert who understands your mission and budget. No more being oversold on “enterprise” solutions you don’t need.
- For IT Professionals: Find meaningful work that pays the bills. Our platform connects skilled IT veterans—many impacted by corporate layoffs—with organizations that desperately need their help. It’s a chance to build a reputation based on trust and service, not sales quotas.
- For Communities: Keep resources local. Every dollar spent on a local Tech Steward generates more economic activity in the community. And by ensuring secure e-waste disposal, our hubs act as a vital defense against fraud, protecting everyone.
Our goal is 100+ communities with active Tech Hubs within three years, each employing local professionals and serving hundreds of organizations. It’s sustainable because every satisfied customer becomes a referral source.
Maxsys International
This isn’t about building another tech company. This is about rebuilding the human infrastructure that makes technology actually work for people. It’s about proving that giving is beautiful—not just through charity, but through honest work that protects and strengthens the places we all call home.
