Maxsys International was born from a lifetime of service and a frustration with the status quo. To understand our mission, you need to understand the story of our founder, Maryanne Rozier Chiriboga.
A Journey of Service
A distinguished U.S. Marine Corps veteran, cancer survivor, missionary, and accomplished business owner, Maryanne brings decades of global experience and an unwavering commitment to service to everything she does. Her remarkable journey spans from programming in COBOL using punch cards during her military service to launching innovative community technology solutions in underserved regions worldwide.
It was this rich tapestry of experiences that shaped the Maxsys vision. She saw firsthand how large tech companies overlooked or overcharged the small organizations doing the most important work. She saw skilled IT veterans, full of talent and integrity, sidelined by corporate layoffs. And she saw a path to connect the two.
It’s like having a town full of master mechanics sitting unemployed while everyone’s car is broken down. The math doesn’t add up, and frankly, it’s been driving me crazy for years. We had to build something better.
